Moshi Street Kids Soccer Academy is the leading football academy in Kilimanjaro.
Moskisa charitable organization established in 2017 aiming to give life-changing opportunities to talented children,
away from street-related predicaments that hinder their growth and development. The idea of street children at MOSKISA is
parallel with that definition of UNICEF (2012) which refers to the community of children who spend most of their time on the streets,
out of school and out of homes, to work, play, sleep, and eat.
Street Kids can be categories into Full time; children who live in streets
and hardly have family ties, they move from town to town, place to place, night after night to sleep and search for food and shelter.
Another group is part-time Street children who are the children on the street who engage in social and economic activities during the day and the majority of them return home at the end of the day.
At the moment we host part-time street related children who participate in numerous physical and tactical training programs and in the evening return to their home. However,
there is a majority group of full-time street children whom we find difficult to nurture their growth and development mentally, psychologically and nutritionally due to lack of a facility
accommodate them full time.
