"My experience with Moskisa Academy was truly fulfilling — not just because you felt part of the community, but also because you felt like you were making a difference, both in the lives of the Moskisa kids and in your own. Everyone at the academy is committed to helping the children grow in all kinds of ways. As volunteers, we do our best to support that growth, guided by the coach and the rest of the staff. In addition, volunteers have the opportunity to start new projects, which future volunteers can continue. For example, we started an art class and created a beautiful painting of Mount Kilimanjaro. Beyond all that, Moskisa Academy also offers leisure time for volunteers — you can play football with the kids and even take part in matches. Speaking for myself and all my fellow volunteers, we can confidently say that being part of Moskisa Academy will make a real difference in your life"

Hi! Of course, here’s a short summary of my experience:Volunteering at Moskisa Academy was one of the most meaningful experiences I’ve ever had. I taught English and Spanish to small groups of students, and despite the limited resources, their motivation and joy made every class special. I also learned a lot about their culture, resilience, and the power of education in vulnerable contexts. It was both challenging and incredibly rewarding, I truly felt part of a community, and I hope to return one day.

Me experiencing with Moskisa is something I can never forget. I knew from the first moment I stepped my foot at the academy, that is was a place that I belonged. Every person from the players, coaches, doctor, chefs and more was just incredible. The kids at moskisa, was so inspiring. They learned me so many things, things that I will keep in mind the rest of my life.

As a volunteer at Moskisa I saw a prime example of working hard and never giving up! Teaching languages to the boys was a grateful experience and I still think about their kindness, eagerness to learn and drive for a better future. What surprised me the most was to see that Moskisa is more than a football academy, it is a place for street kids to learn valuable skills and life lessons which help them to live a good life. I am very happy to be part of the Moskisa family and they will always have a special place in my heart. Keep up the good work!
